Here's a song from a Country band we recorded last winter.
It's from a 5-song demo that they did.
It's a cover of an old Bobby Bare song from the 60's.

MAC2 and I never heard the original, but this version was a blast to listen to and to record.

BTW, this is a copy of a copy, so it's not as "crisp and clean" as the original.

Interesting song - great vocals to say the least.

Hard to comment on the mix due to my crappy listening environment here. Was that a MIDI setup or live musicians? Sounded MIDI-ish to me, at least in the beginning ...

It's 4 live musicians, and they played the music together.
The vocals were tracked seperately.

The drums were e-drums.
(...a full 5-piece kit, not a drum machine)

Maybe it's the e-drums that made it sound that way, I don't know.
