This mic better be worth it

I ordered myself a Studio Projects B1 (with shockmount) from Full Compass the week before Christmas along with some other mics. It was on backorder so cool I'd wait a little bit. They still haven't sent it yet. Grrr. I've called twice now and they say they'll be in on the 26th so I should have it within the next week or so. That's more than a month to wait for what I thought was a pretty common mic. I ordered two sets of matched MXL603S that they didn't have in stock and those only took a week to get (through Full Compass). I sure hope this is a freak occurance but it has definitely soured my attitude. I don't think I'll be buying another SP through them anytime soon (assuming I like it).
 
hey, you ordered right before christmas and the mics are imported to begin with. backorders happen, it happens in retail. it's not at all unheard of for things to be backordered for a month after christmas. next time, maybe order at not such a peak time. :D

and you might like it, you might not. it's an $80 mic, it can only be so good in the first place. sounds like you're pretty soured on it the first time, won't surprise me if you hate it.

It takes time to build these mics. When the chinese workers are through making the fake Levi's jeans, they will get around to your order.

It's not the Chinese workers building those mics. It's the Chinese machines!

Oops, I forgot. I guess it takes a Chinese person to push the buttons.
 
I don't know, man.

Thos damn Chinese robots are just so much . . . lazier than the European robots.

Those Mexican robots, on the other hand . . . all they do is work their damn asses off.
