Ok, i've been reading a decent amount, still unsure about all this stuff. One of the hard things for me is my room is small. So space is an issue first off. The second issue is when i read about something, and then see pictures of the application, it obviously is going to sound alot different in a room half the size.

Anyway, my room. I lost my photoshop of how my set up is and my floor plan. I'll try to pull out the plans when someone is around who knows where they are. But, these are the basic specs. My room is about 100 square feet. It's about 11X9 ft. It has a slanted ceiling going from about 8 ft to 12. It is not perfectly rectangular. My computer, moniters, etc are on one wall. Next to my computer is a very very small entry way, the width of a door by 3 ft. Behind me is a window. The right wall is perfectly flat, the left has a closet with doors it's about 4 feet deep, and it's double doors. The left corner of the room is at a 45 degree angle. So that will give you a basic idea, of what i'm working with.

Now for the newb questions.....

1. My moniters are about 3 inches from the wall. I could probably manage to pull the desk back another 6in and maybe the small bridge i made another3-4 in. Should i put something like some 703 panels behind my moniters?

2. The one corner where i can easily fit a bass trap is already at 45 degree angle. It is the behind me and to the left. Is there a type of pannel i should use here?

3. Do pannels need to be flush with the floor. Or can they be about 4 feet off the ground? And if they still work well off the ground, can i make some that are only 2.5-3ft wide. If so, i can put one to the right corner that is infront of me.

4. Flat walls, anything i should deal with there. Especially if i can't really have adaquite bass traps?

5. Closet-Is it advantagous to loose the doors? They are a pain anyway to open in such a small space. That will give me more room, it has alot of things like clothes, books, etc in it with irregular surfaces. Would this help. It would be ugly though :D .

6. Anything specific to small rooms i should REALLY watch for? I know i'm at a disadvantage already size wise, plus it doesn't help that i live in the room and have all my crap in here.

7. Sorry, last question, i know, long. What about the bottom area of my room. I have a bunch of space on the lower parts of the walls. But it is places like under my desk, behind my bed. Probably not much help

Sorry, i know this is very long, and probably hard to read :o . I don't really know what i'm getting into. I'm very willing to experiment, size permitting. This will defineatly be a DIY type project.

These are the things i cannot do:

-Clouds, i have poor light, track lighting, it's just not going to work
-Move my room around. Last time i posted pictures, which i can't find, people told me to move things around. My room is cramped. It just wont work.
-Get a new room. I'm stuck here for awhile, I go to college about 4 minutes away and housing is expensive in cali.

SORRY, that is long, i'm just very confused.
