Thinking about getting a guitarport

Are these things good? i have a v-amp 2. is this going to give me better recording results than that? i like the fact that it will constantly change. upgrades will give me more and more amps without buying more hardware.

but will this be better than a vamp 2 or what?
 
I've never used either, but does the guitar port only have presets that you can pick from? Because the V-Amp is adjustable, and has built in effects....
 
yesm its just on your computer rather than in an external, um, thing.
