The 20/20BAS finally came in. All I can say is.... where the heck do I put them???? Ear level and anything they might have hung on will rip out the plaster in my walls. I have a kind of rack system working, but man I'll need to build another room, heck no another house, just for these monitors. The post lady went into forced retirement after having to move these. Oh well, I just hope they sound as good as they look...

THERE HERE..........

I've got to buy some monitors and i've been looking at the PS series 6's or 8''s . I haven't seen the 20/20 bas advertised since they have been pushing the PS series, I was beginning to think they stopped making the 20/20's, but i guess not. I think there the best for the money.

Yo Brahmbbumbblerumble:

Rule of thumb; always ask for the WEIGHT when ordering speakers/amps/etc. (especially if you're over the age when your muscles are slightly lacking.]

But, good luck in your building a new room.

Oh I knew the weight was 60lbs (thank God I didn't have to pay shipping!!!). I just didn't believe it...

I must say, I am deeply in love with my Event PS8's. While the 20/20bas sytem does offer more power, the PS8's use exactly the same components and enclosure; everything but the amps are the same.

THe bottom end on these bad boys is sweeeeet ... tight and accurate and sometimes frightneing. They have a real present upper mid response; far from annoying, mind you, and I've really gotten used to it and COUNT on it when mixing. I considered the 20/20bas really hard, but after listening to both and looking at price tags, I decided the PS8's were the ones. If they're any indication of the rest of the PS line, they've got a big future. Put em on your short list, at least for a test drive.

By the way, brahmb ... How big (or small) did you expect powered studio monitors with 8" woofers to be? And how little space are you working with?
