Thanks for your kind comments, Tim. Steve and I are careful arrangers, and that's pretty much accounts for all the details. Shaking Hands, all told, probably took four months to write, arrange, and record. Taking lots of time makes up for the lack of skill Steve and I have with our instruments. It takes a little effort to not rush through with things, but for us the results otherwise would be uninteresting.

We've been busy with this record the past few months - it's down to the last recording and then we will remix all the songs. We will have a master by early to mid June. I feel bad for not having put in much time here in the interim and plan to make up for that when I get a chance. It will be nice to have a few weeks of improv and relaxation before we start on number 2.

Great revision of your song!

You do need to repost it with the new title, and just inform everyone that it began as "The Time I Took". It will save on a lot of confusion.

I do like this new version better. Everything sounds excellent to my ears. I am not getting the hiss/fuzz on my speakers. But as we all know, the tune will come through a bit different on different set-ups.

Congrats on this tune, and kudos to the guitarist!!!!
