well, i made my first coaster....it sounded flat, and no matter how much i try to think otherwise, i really can't sing worth shit.
but, on to the information. the tascam cdrw5000 is a breeze to use...and it's really pretty.
it does have input fader controls, HOWEVER, they only control an analog input source. if you are going digitally, then you must control output from the source to burn the cd hot enough. in the case of the akai dps16, you can NOT use the master volume to do this. the master volume controls the master outputs, which are analog...so if you are recording digital to digital, you must adjust the volume on the individual faders....just an fyi
i'm talking to myself, aren't i?
you want to tell me to go away, don't you?
