The Road Less Traveled

Well I have kind of been in hiding the last couple months just writing and recording. I know you all missed me lol.
This is one of the few I will most likely let you guys listen to within the next couple days. My buddy actually wrote this song (then gave it to me) so I recorded it. I have no way to add drums or bass to this (hint hint). Also looking for the normal "this sux" or "fix this" feedback as well. Thanks guys (and girls)!

Nice clean guitar sound.
It sounds like you should cut the vocal track when you're not singing. For example I can hear breathing and mic noise before the vocals come in.
Good singing & songwriting.
I don't mind the song without drums, but I can't help think drums and bass blasting in later would be dramatic and cool.
I think some more lead guitar fills later on would sound cool too. Maybe in a bluesy tone.

Yeah using Sonar 3 Producer w/ waves plugins.
Guitar was done with a strat into Pod XT
Vox were done with a Studio Projects C1
everything runs directly into my Motu 828.

It will probably be easier for me just to go in a edit out the parts, instead of trying to gate it. Thanks for the compliments guys!
