a little piano melody in the background would help glue it together.
 
Yeah I think that piano line helps alot, good tip finster. Maybe some strings to highlight the end of each phrase too. This is a cool beat for sure though, nice and chill. The bassline seems to get a bit redundant and I can't say as the vinyl thing works throughout, though at times it's spot on, maybe hold off on introducing it for a ways. I've always been a fan of panning the hats out wide to spread the field, but that's mostly my own taste. Other than that I think it's solid, nice job man.

Oh yeah and I must say that my favorite of your tunes that you have up is definitely "Masterpiece," flows well and I love that, hitchy-glitchy beat, only thing is maybe a bit too much verb on the kick, though that was probably intended.

Only thing i wasnt fellin about this beat was how loud the "crackle" effect was.

Finster, I love that piano line, but where you had it was during the chorus,

I would love to be able to use that during the verse section.


It sounded nice.


I am very simplistic in my ways, i dunno why, each individual sound to me
just sticks out so drastic, every sound makes a melody to me.
