I recorded this a month or so back for some friends of mine. I had pretty limited means, a Behringer mixer that's falling apart going to a Digidesign M-Box. I had to record the drums all to one stereo track. The mic's I used included a Shure Beta 52, a bunch of SM 57's, and a couple of AKG condensors that are duct taped together.

Comments?

Pretty good up until it gets loud, then everything gets messy IMO and overpowers the vox. Gotta lotta fighting going on in the mids.

being a newb I can't really offer alot of advice, but I do think you have yourself a good song there!!

Thank you for the comments. To respond to the mids fighting and the vocals getting buried... that was kind of the point of the mix. There's supposed to be conflict in the loud part, and the everything else is supposed to overwhelm the vocals. I agree that things are fighting with each other a little too much though, but as far as the vocals, I kind of want them to get swallowed by the rest of the mix. You think the multitracked guitars are fighting with each other, or is it something else?
