Gone
They always seem to come on a sunday evening. Weird.
WARNING: this is quite literally NOISE. A lot of people will absolutely not like this. I only warn because the entire file is around 12MB in size. Therefore I offer the following "preview" link:

If you don't want to hear more, that's cool!
If you want the whole deal, it can be found at my website: http://www.slackmaster2000.com - The Next Day - This will be the eigth and final track on my current project. Warning 2: there is some feedback at the end of the thing that is extremely painful...you may wish to listen at regular volume levels.
The noise was all created live in two 12 minute takes. The noise source was a crybaby wah pedal that just loves to pick up radio stations. It was run into a danelectro guitar compressor, which was fed into a hot tuna tremelo box, which was then fed into this little Realistic personal microphone amplifier thing. By varying the wah, pedals, and amp I was able to create some interesting sounds. I recorded the noise with an MXL603s off axis in front of the speaker. In the computer, I added some compression.
The second noise (hard to pinpoint) is guitar noodling over the top, to which I added a resonant filter in the 'puter.
The teletubbies are the teletubbies, pitch shifted and lofi'd down to 3 bits.
The music towards the end is from another song that is part of this same project.
A stereoizer and a reverb on the master channel and voila: shit.
