The Mower !!!!

This is an original I did a while back. I went through today and remixed it (for the third time). I know most guys can relate to this (and maybe some women). Its about all those things that enter your mind when your mowing grass. Enjoy !!!

Wow - this sounds like vintage Sabbath! (Bet you get that a lot)...
No problems for me on the mix. It has it's focus on the bass guitar wrapped up in the guitars and synth and driven by the drums. I might have added a cool echo to the end for fun but all in all I like it...:cool:

Thanks ido1957. Its always evolving, so an echo at the end is a good suggestion. I plan on as soon as spring gets here and I have to start, well, mowing :), to do a video of the tune. I went to a few garage sales last year and got all the props I need for the video. But I just didnt have time to get it done. So this spring I'll get the video done.

I agree with the Sabbath comment, and would add its a bit like a down tempo megadeath.

The lyrics are quality. Vocal effects are nice. Is that just playing around or is it a specific plug-in?

There are a few timing issues, but i'm knit picking. If it were me I would half the tempo of the ride cymbal. Just personal preference.

Great guitar sound but the rest sounds good too. Nice vocals, Bush! Yeah, I get the same thoughts when I'm mowing.....:cool: If I had to critique anything, I would say the song needs some chord variatioon in the middle, but that that would be nit-picking. Sabbath are God to me ansd I love anything that sounds like them. Well done and you should mow the lawn more often...that would make the missus happy! :D

Ive got an Acuma brand (Mackie) delay/paner and modulation plugin I used. I'll probable fix the timing issues the next remix I do of it. :)

Thanks Joey. It does need some more work. It will probably evolve some more, by the time I get to doing the home video thing to it.
 
I remember this one. I think it may have been mowing season last time I heard it. Definitely huge video potential here...

Like the riffs and the vocal processing especially. Very original :).
 
Thanks guys. I have a few old ones that are pretty sad and need help. I plan on remixing them and or adding more material to them.
