Hi, guys! I am new man here, so i want to show you the songs of my band. We are starting the new album so we want to do it better than previous one.
Style is smth like USA country rock, but in russian. May be you will tell us some ideas about sound, about mixing and recording mistakes.
Drums were recorded in the professional studio and guitars and vocals were recorded in my home studio (i am the singer and guitarist).

Thanx a lot! Have a nice day!

I listened to the first song. I thought it sounded decent. I liked the lead guitar sound (i think I'd turn it up a little bit). I thought the singer was good.

I thought the acoustic guitars sounded just a little bit thin and a little too bright. In general the double tracking was tight. But there are a couple spots in the intro where they aren't.

Lead vocal is much dryer than the other tracks.

I think the weakest part of the sound is the drums. The kick was kind of slappy. Too much click in the attack. The snare was compressed to the point where it didn't sound much like a snare. For some genres it can sound cool. But for a song like this, I'd prefer a more natural sounding snare. The cymbals were a little hyped in the high end and a little too sizzly.

Thank you for your opinion, TripleM! Have a nice day, man!
