The link is not working - just takes me to a log in screen for soundclick.

That link worked.....
Maybe clean up the front end of the recording - the first 20 seconds or so....Good tune, you've put the words to music very well. (Saw lyrics in Songwriting Forum) Wasn't sure what the melody would be like - that's probably true for many of us when we read lyrics - there's just so many possibilities..... Your vocal on this one reminds me a bit of of Crash Test Dummies - Superman song. Good mix and tones on both guitars and vocals. What guitar/mic/pre are you using?
Good one!

I like the tune. Sounds well done. Maybe work on the mix a bit, to make things stick together a bit better, but already sounding good. :)

thanks ... the sound at the beginin supposed to be there though... sorry i should have warned youguys... its the mad mathmatician if you listen close hes busy toiling...

anyway...

i use sm57 and a tascam 122 on all of it...

the guitar is a jasmine hundred dollar job for use only in my current situation (away from home)...

That Tascam looks like a pretty cool unit - it's small but versatile looking...records nice and clean too. That sm57 turned out very good for vocals...

i will warn you about the 122... i had a devil of a time trying to get it goin... i actually have to run a resourse hungry plugin to put a load on my cpu to keep it from clipping... i dont know wtf is up with that... its super wierd... but it seems to work with others stuff.. i dont knowl.. i would suggest hooking one up to my machine before purchasing... the thing was useless for the first week i had it....
