The M-Audio Firewire 410

If I used the Firewire 410 as my soundcard will it work well for producing?

I'll be using the following equipment..
Apple PowerBook G4 w/ 15.2” Display Screen
MOTU MIDI Express XT
Rane SM-82
Yamaha Motif ES Rack
M-Audio Keystation 88es
Akai MPC2000XL-MCD
Event TR8XL
AKG K271 Studio Headphones

Then I'll later get..
Roland Fantom XR
Roland V-Synth XT
Korg MicroKorg
Numark TT-200 Direct Drive Turntable
M-Audio Ozonic

All I need to know is will the Firewire 410 work well?

That's all I need to hear. Because I'm tired of people bringing up the I/O's or saying that I need to get the 002r because it has more inputs which it only has 6 more than the Firewire 410. But thanks for clearing this up for me.

ive had nothing but problems with the 410. it has some sort of la that sounds like latency but theres onthing that should be causeing it. went through ever support help thing until they told me to jus tput it in a different computer. damn thing is buggy and the software is buggy,

I know people that had no problems with it. I'm not using it for recording just for producing. No need to waste all that money on the 002r when I can get something that can work just as good for a cheaper price. And I really needed something that can work with other programs other than Pro Tools.
