well I am a week into trying to figure out this pultec eq. I think I am getting some decent smooth sounds with it. the snare drum bleeds big time into the vocal/harp mic with low frequencies and the pultec won't thin it out without radically affecting the voice and harp lower end. So, I put the neve 1081 in conjunction with it on the vocal/harp mic and used the low frequence cut. It worked pretty good. that is something I would have never thought of a few weeks ago. I guess time is the only way to get anywhere! Here are some songs from tonight. Any comments on the sonic characteristics? Walter
