Hey, love the look of this forum - will probably be on here quite a bit now the studio kit is up to scratch.
Yeah, basically whenever i try playing back much audio through multitrack mode in audition, that horrible stutturing sound comes up. I presumed it was something to do with the buffers, so tried messing around with them, but it basically made no difference (although i didn't really know what did what). When putting a few tracks into the supplied mix program that came with the card (cant remember what its called), the same thing happened until i switched it into ASIO mode, and they went away. I know audition doesn't have asio support, but surely there are people out there with a delta using audition? It does this even in the demo that starts up with the program, which i'd imagine is set to work on most computers
the computer is a fresh 3100 sempron with a gig of ddr and an 80 gig SATA on an nforce3 chipset, so there shouldn't be much in the way of processing issues... I was expecting teething troubles, but nothing that a few simple tweaks wouldnt fix
spent about 2 hours twiddling, so have probably screwed *everything* up now, but if anyone has ANY ideas i would very much like to hear them.
otherwise, hello, great forum, looking forward to meeting some nice people.
