Hi All: I recorded these tonight after an encounter this afternoon with a man that let my dogs out of the fenced soccer field at Denison University. One of the dogs, a stray hound we are fostering, took off into the woods. I ran up to him and asked why he opened the gate. He said he didn't know why. He said he didn't know why he is doing what he does. He looked like a professor, but his clothes hinted at homeless. I asked if he was ok. He walked off into the woods with his backpack. It was in the 20's and will be in the low teens tonight. I felt so sad. I am going to keep an eye out for him. There are 0 homeless here in Granville Ohio. Contrary to Ca, where it seemed like there were more than those with homes...... I walked the mile home with my other 2 dogs and the hound dog was sitting on our porch waiting on us. I also realized that my stress levels are so low that I never got angry at the guy. In Ca my stress was so high with all the kaos out there, I might have leveled the guy and left him in the creek. This place is very soft on the soul. I actually wondered if he was a real person or a ghost sent down to show me how much I have calmed down since moving here from Ca 2-1/2 years ago. Walter
