I posted a different take of this song up about a year ago so it may be familiar to some. I think this one is pretty rockin' but lemmie know if you would change anything with the mixing and whatnot.

I think the bass and guitar sound good, but the vocals have a few pitch problems and also they aren't also understandable. I think they need a bit more treble, some reverb/delay and maybe more compression. The drums are also way too raw in my opinion. I know other people like different things, but they seem completely unmixed to me and they're weakening the mix. If you get the drums rocking the rest of the song will follow.

I have had this problem when double tracking and panning my vocals. Compression and adding minimal reverb like chandler said would definitely make the vocals easier to hear. This song sounds very The Shins to me, I like it alot. I think the cymbals sound great, but the rest of the drums feel pretty dull. I could also do with more bass, but that's just me.
