Hehe, by the way I went overboard and set my track record for this one... 17 tracks. I have some new stuff like tamborine, a little piano, harmonica of course, and a lot of guitar layering. I also tried recording acoustic and vocals at the time in places, which was pretty fun stuff...

who knows what's next... I'm thinking some space rock... or maybe I'll make a pic of alien dog since he's getting pretty popular.

How is it that you can get your mind loose enough to let stuff like this out? I could never do anything like this in a million years. I'm just wound too tight...

Hey thanks Llarion! Hey, i don't even understand the song. I guess I just have a lot of fun with it... I don't write songs for any kind of audience and don't usually pay attention to "songwriting rules" Things are serious enough all day that when I get home I just want to have some fun. Just don't ask me to write a "normal" song, stuff like this comes so much easier to me :confused:

Like when I think I write a somewhat normal song I still get the "how much drugs were you on when you wrote that one?" I actually only do beer :D And I wasn't drinking when I wrote this one... Anyway, thanks for listening! Now it's time for you to go get your gear and let free Llarion the beast, unwind!!! We know you have a crazy side... somewhere :p

So, you working on anything for my latest pile? :D I worked on it some, and then went on to something else. Wanna try a solo for another "killer" tune? I'm going to try and do a cover for the Beatles thread. Plenty of room for a solo. If you wanna play, just let me know. Otherwise, I will try it..... :D

As far as your latest dogpile, I haven't been able to fix my synth yet :o but I'm going to put some good effort into that soon because I have big plans for it ;)

Allright. I am working on a somewhat hard cover of Come Together. Have the drums pretty well done, and will work on the guitar, and bass tomorrow. Still don't have the drums to Shout fixed very well. I'll get you some tracks as soon as I get something done.

Have you talked to your brother lately? I heard -38 below zero on Thursday up in Island Park. That is cold, my friend....

He went up to Boise for Thanksgiving and I heard about the freeway on the way home. He said it was below 0, there was snowstorm, and cars were crashed all over. He said he spun out the car too :eek:

OH YEAH, and I forgot to meantion I've been collaborating with an actual alien on my last few songs. Here's a "pick" of him :p

have you written any songs about alien pirates yet? or should i ask, how many songs have you written about alien pirates? anyway, cool tune, i listened to it twice already. great storytelling, kept me on the edge of my seat. i also laughed when dan did the 50 foot jump-kick into the wall. loved the song, keep it up.

I don't mean to be super bumping this, but haven't had much before today and still wanted to say thanks for the listens.

Zed, how would you ever guess alien pirates??? Haha, actually yeah I have a few. The last one was about how the alien pirates met Dangerous Frog Guy in the other world's bar.. and well things got out of hand to say the least.

Hehe, and Dan's my brother, it's always good to get shots in on him. Even musical shots ;)

that was lovely.. you know there's a lot of mix and performance issues but it was amusing either way.. love the little vocode around 4.. you really have to do something about the vocals in this.. the words need to be more easily understood for the tune to be fully appreciated..
