Here is new song inspired an event here in Dallas last month.

Instruments include the Mo Classic, and various acoustic and electric guitar parts.....

Let me know what you think.

I remember reading about that on cnn.com and just feeling kind of melencholy for the rest of the day.
You captured that feeling I had in this song.

Really nice. You're a very good singer! I don't know what the event was but it's easy enough to guess from the music, which is surely a good sign. I'd watch out for making the chorus too "happy" though, perhaps have the harmonies more distant with a bit of reverb to mellow it a bit. The keyboard is also a bit risky in my opinion. Guitars sound good. Are those real drums? I can't tell but they sound good. However, I think the drums are panned too much, the toms sound like they're a mile away from the rest of the kit, and the hi-hat is stuck on the right. Push them in a bit. Whats the snare doing over on the left? :D

I'd consider changing the electrics to acoustic, for a mellower sound, just to fit in with the theme.

Seriously though, it is very good :) Whats your signal chain?

Thanks guys, I appreciate the good feedback.

CanopusS - very good suggestions - I appreciate the specific ideas - I like them.

The signal chain on the mail vocal was Studio Projects C1-Grace 101-Akai DPS16 digitial recorder. The background vocals was the same but used a Sennheiser MD-421 mic. I processes them after the fact with a RNC compressor and reverb from the TC Electronics M-One XL.

The acoustic guitar was recorded using a Rode NT5 into a RNP with compression from the RNC going in.

All other sounds were from the yamaha Motif.

Oh - just to be compreshensive,

The various electric guitar parts were recorded with combinations of a POD XT and a mic'd (Sennheiser 421) Tech 21 Trademark 10 amp.
