Hello, first time I'm posting here , nice site!

Thought I'd ask some questions since I'm planning
to by some new equipment this week.

These are the three things I'm going to buy:

-MindPrint Envoice with digital I/O

-Neumann tlm103

-TC M3000

My question is

*
Is the envoice a good preamp that will get professional sound?

and important, what reverb is best?

If anybody have heard both lexicon an tc electronic,
is there a big difference to them.

I love big, open and clear sound of a reverb and from
what I have read that would might be the tc electronic

would really like to hear you'r opinions.

Hello & Welcome Tombirk! Kindly view the "THREADS" below
this THREAD and read the various posts' on "REVERBS"!!

What, MRQQ??? there are only 1432 threads about reverbs.. Y can't a guy simply make another one? :D

hehhe

Ill answer u....I hane a mindprint envoice and LOVE IT.....honestly it will improve the sound going into your recorder tenfold......(unless you owned a Neve or SSL in the first place, but thats doubtful)

As far cas Reverbs go...Ive been happy with the Lexicon MPX 500

i've compared the lexicon 100 and 500 to the tc's and finally buyed the tc m-one.
The M3000 is much better then the m-one, so it is way ahead of the small lexicons.

I can't be 100% sure on this one, but I was going to go for the M-One, but I think it was our own Brucie BlueBear that did a side by side comparison with the MPX500 and said the reverbs were way more natural and better sounding than the M-One

how much is that one struberg?
for my personal opinion the M3000 lies between a PCM91 and a 480L but i tried them all at a dealer and never used them myself. They are to expensive for my small bedroom...

2 link: The MPX500 sounds warmer, but muddies the mix when used on more than on track. The m-one is more on the analytical side. I like to use reverbs that noone can hear - till u bypass them and wonder whats wrong ;) ... Additional i think the lex only can act as S/PDIF slave (maybe lexicon fixed this in the meantime).
