i need a simple three chord progression. thats sorta mellow. i have to give a speech, a 'how to' speech, and im gonna teach the kiddies how to read tabs *gasp* and transfer that knowledge to guitars. im thinking maybe C D Am?

i want a warm fuzzy distortion, that could still be heavy at the same time. is this one of those 'muff fuzz' things?


is there a case/bag that can fit an ovation acoustic? cause its a big fatty bo batty and im having trouble finding something that can fit it.

Hmm... simple chord progression.. E to Am? hehe... nah the progression you mentioned sounds pretty good and uses some very common chords, so I'd say it's good for beginners.

"Muff" distortion to me just sounds garbled and crummy, and frankly I don't like it. It doesn't really seem heavy at all to me, just bland. Then again, I never was a big fan of fuzz, so you're probably better off trusting somebody else's opinion, or better yet trying it yourself.

As for the case... I have a massive Armadillo flight case that will fit just about anything if you're interested in buying it . Otherwise, I've never personally owned a Ovation, but I'll ask my friend who has 2 of them what he uses.

ive always wanted to find one of those fuzz things but i never could to play one, every time i go to GC to play with effects, they arent plugged in right cause those darn kids think its funny to jack with them. darn kids *shakes angry fist*
