Very nice cover. The strings were a bit too synth sounding for my taste, but it didn't hurt anything. Also, not to nit pick, but after "see how they snide" there is supposed to be another sound effect. (a vocal sound effect of barking type sound) Also, I love the way you added in some original beatles samples. Made the song more like the original. As to they guy saying "They must have been on serious drugs when they wrote this" or something to that effect, the weren't. This song was written in order to confuse some students that John had gotten a letter from saying they were trying to interpret their songs. Only one line in the song was written on drugs (LSD) and it was the first one. ("I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.") I am not aware of the fact of any of the rest of their songs being written or recorded in drugs. I can almost assure you none of them were recorded on drugs, because an indirect quote from Ringo was "we would go into the studio stoned and make this great music, and then listen to it the next day and it would be s**t." Alot of their songs were written about actual subjects, and were just twisted around and coded to the point of it not making any sence to anybody else but them, like as I am sure most of you know for example the song "Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite" was written about a circus poster john found in a thrift shop, and almost had word for word every lyric in the song on it. and then sometimes they just wrote stuff for the sake of writing stuff that had no meaning at all. Oh, and by the way, if you are really willing to sell the e-drums, I'll take um.
