"My Restless Mind" at top. Posted a few days ago here as instrumental....this is the vox version...makes more sense of the arrangement.
Not done.....a basketful of experiments on it....a failed master...but it'll clarify my arrangement choices that sounded wierd before...
Got a couple bass dr/crash/bass hits to aligh in audio tracks...and still fudging with the mastering ...a little distortion on this one. Ass-crammed w/ analog modelling. :^)
And I finally figured out how to get rid of the amplitude mod in the synth'd horns. The unit was made in England; the manual is, like most, unreadable and confusing. So I started mashing buttons..trial and error, until I found the function. It's labeled "PITCH"...deep in the editing program. I guess that's what they call "tremelo" in England. Ugh.
Still a little warble detectable...I gotta re-do all the horn's verb tracks...taken from the first audio tracks.
I tried to make the recording sound like a band in a large theater, near empty...a rehearsal...from the POV of someone standing on-stage in the smaller alcove with the hardwood floor and curtains, looking out at the seats.
