You would just play an 808 kick/sine wave sample connected from the sampler thru midi from a keyboard, or if you don't have a keyboard,.. pitch change or make multiple pitch variations of an 808.

thats the hard part what intervals are they seperating them by??

Whatever intervals the song calls for I'd assume? They're just playing them in the key of the song by the sound of it, so you really only have 7 different pitches and their octaves to work with.

It's similar to playing bass on a keyboard. You'd tune the sample to the root pitch that you'd want and then everything is a scale in half steps from there.
