thanks for all of your advice. my plan is just to record here at home. i play with a bunch of guys, and being the drummer, things always end up here. and, with the equipment here, it'll be convenient to record in my house. i go off to college in august sometime, so i hope to get as much done with the roland here as possible in the next 6 months. i guess if i spend enough time with it, i can understand it well enough to use at least somewhat effectively.
