Thank you! One of the threads got snarfed in the process of moving though...sorry about that!

I thought snarfing is what my dog does when he gets donked in the nose.

That's true...your dog snarfed all over the files and even I won't touch them now.

There's your title... Dog Snarf
Although I'd buy into Cat Snarf as well.

SNARF!!

"Snarf" is the verb that my friends and I use.

Snarf:[snarf'] to project liquid from the nose, usu. a beverage, when laughing unexpectedly.

As far as I know there is no other word for said phenomenon. We are trying to get this used widely enough that it makes it into the dictionary. Some people have nobler life goals than others...

"Snarf" verify copyrights on that one.. I think the thundercats have it slotted.

No kidding, Monkey?! (and welcome back, BTW). One of our favorite family stories around here is when I got my wife to blow beer out her nose...my oldest son comes close to snarfing himself whenever he thinks about it, which is usually when he's drinking soda...

Hmmm...

When I was a boy my dad told me a Snarf was someone who farted in the bath tub and ate the bubbles. And no, I never tried it.

tdukex:

The common name for one who manually ruptures encapsulated gas pockets passed through a liquid phase of H2O is a Twerp.

Could be either or both due to differences between regional dialects.
