Hi !

I would like to know if anyone of you could advise me on the right price a used Topaz 24 could be sold for...

I found one but i am not sure of the price...

Please help me, it's relatively urgent... :)

a grand...plus or minus. some w/meter bridge... a little higher.

nice board.

Don't feel you get ripped if you shuck out $1500 or more though.. You won't feel the need to upgrade in the near future, and it should provide excellent bang for the buck.

I found one with meterbridge for 1200... So that should be it's price...

Thanx a lot, and if anyone owns a Topaz please leave your impressions.

Purchased one for $1150 used at Sam Ash a year and a half ago!

Yeah, ok... but i am in Europe and the prices are a bit different...

But impressions on the board ?

Fave feature is the pre's offering a 20db pad, noiseless, excellent levelling capabilities and a tad more "tonal warming" than in my Alesis 24 & 32 and Mackie 1202 VLZ boards.

Love the Topaz. I have used mine for over 3 years hard. The routing options are great (in line design) and the control room section is very flexible. Pre's are very nice - clean, and the eq's are very usable & clean as well. This mixer is a definite step up from any mackie mixer period, and most consider the Topaz & the Ghost to be the top choices in mixers in around the under 4-6g range. You can't go wrong with a Topaz... as long as it isn't trashed from some rough environment/use.

Good Luck,
Sponge Bob

wow i feel lucky getting mine for the price that i did (then again i had to drive up to boston to get it... but it was WELL worth it).
Eric
P.S. - Merry Christmas to all!

Mine was $850 with the meterbridge, but I got about as lucky as anyone I've seen... They should probably be pretty cheap in Europe, since there are probably more of them around.
