I have a Terratec EWS88/MT. The cards are pretty much Identical. The colors are slightly different, but the size and shape of the breakout box is exactly the same. The drivers and control panel are the same and everything. When I updated my Drivers, my control panel that used to just say Terratec, now says Terratec Producer and the Icon changed to say Phase 88 control panel. I have been pleased with my recordings. I will say though, I get the dreaded "BLUE SCREEN" from time to time...and the crash always says its due to my soundcard drivers. On occasion, the blue screen came right in the middle of tracking...which is really bad for a client to see. Most of my recordings are of me, or friends, but I do occasionally get paying customers and a blue screen half-way through a good take is BAD. The crash is not isolated to recording sessions. I have been doing anything from playing Hearts, to surfing the web, to recording. But the one thing that is always the same is the that the crash has always involved the soundcard drivers.

i dont know anything about that specific card, but I had bought a terratec phase 26 awhile back and it refused to work. I finally took it back. I havent heard too many good things about any of the terratec cards...

this is actually my second EWS88/MT. I screwed up the first one myself....I left the case off of my computer and one of my patch cables kinda fell over in there and just barely knicked the PCI card. Guess it was just enough to short something out. I sent it back and they sent me a new one...but before that, I had no problems getting it setup and running...its just that dreaded blue screen from time to time.....I actually have a Delta 1010 on the way now and will be selling the Terratec very soon.....

well...just last night. I decided to see if I could figure this problem out. I went to Terratec's website and looked up everything I could on any known problems and all. I downloaded the updated drivers and followed the instructions to a T. Things seem to be acting different...for the good. I have a band comming in today to start a 5 song demo. Im sure that if the problem is fixed, Ill know today. I doubt I can get through a whole day of recording without the blue screen unless its fixed.....
