tempos

Hi guys - I'm using GT Pro. I create a backing track in Jammer & import it into GT Pro but the downbeats don't always match up w the beginning of the measures. I select "convert loops to project tempo" AND set the project tempo to the tempo I selected in Jammer. But it's erratic. Is this common? It makes editing difficult. Workarounds?? Thanks

When you import the pattern does the preset tempo match that of the tempo in jammer?
For instance if the tempo is 120 in jammer,preset the tempo to 120 in GT pro before importing it.

Thanks for the reply...yes I do match tempos before importing. I just didn't know if I'm missing something or if it's erratic bec it's an entry-level sequencer?
