Tempo Trouble

Hi all! I'm having some trouble with CEP. I've been programming drums for some songs which have tempo changes in them. When I place the drum track into CEP, it messes up the tempos. What can I do to either have it not effect the tempo on drum tracks at all or to have it change at certain points? Any help will be majorly appreciated!
