Tempo plugin or software

I am looking for a LADSPA plugin, or program for linux that will allow me to slow a track down without changing the pitch. I've seen they have hand held cd players than can do that type of thing, but I'm really needing one for my PC. I know this is a strange request, but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Have you tried Ardour? It has a Time Adjustment tool. So-So quality though...
 
Yeah, I'm using Ardour. The time adjustment tool does not retain the pitch. I have found that Audacity has this capability. I'm just trying to perfect it now.
