Tempo Changes?

I have a song I am ready to record, but there are tempo changes in it. I am a one man band, so I would need to have a metronome going for the first track. There are a few tempo changes in this song. How would I go about having the metronome change tempo at the points I would need it to, or would I not even use the metronome? How else would I go about doing this?

Go to View/tempo - in this window you can draw tempo changes, you can even progressively speed something up and down using straight line drawing of tempo.
