Tech21 PSA-1 Discontinued ???

I am totally bummed! I just spoke with both GC and SamAsh...both have said the PSA-1 has been discontinued...? WTF...I was just going to buy one.

What are my alternatives?
 
Order a blem from the KC distributership for half the price...or ebay

No, but I've got the itch for Absorbine Jr, and the feeva for the flava of a Pringle.

The thing about the sansamp stuff is that it was analog circuitry (at least the sansamp that I have... I don't know if the psa went digital)... I haven't heard that analog sound replicated with any modeling preamp anywhere.
 
Good News :
I just spoke with a rep at Music123. They called Tech21 directly and found out that the PSA-1 is in fact NOT discontinued, but on hold. They ran out of a particular component and have to wait.

Bad News :
The PSA-1 won't be available for shipment until sometime in August.

Just more proof to never believe what the guys at GC or Sam Ash tell you. :D
