Check out our song Jetlag. It was tracked completely live in my basement, and was mixed in an evening or two. It was tracked through a DDX3216 using the onboard pre's and A/D. 57 on both guitars and on snare. Bass DI'd. and i had a pair of Behringer B5's used as "underheads" Mixed on Behringer Truth's in Sonar 3.

Not bad, but I thought the drums sounded like cardboard, and the guitar sounded a little fuzzy.

That's all... other than that, not bad.

Could use a vocal track....

Not to bad
I think the oh and hh are a bit to loud/bright.
the snare need some eq. mabe cut some low mid in the snare (200-800 hz)
and add a little treble
some vocals might be good idea.
