Greetings,
I bought a TEAC Model 5 mixer with the extra 5EX board. I have never used one like this before so I'm just trying to see if the old bugger works. I plugged it in and the VU lights come on. I plugged in a sm57 mic in the back mic input to see if I can get the meters needles to move but no luck. Can someone help me out here? Do I need to do more that just plug the mic in the back to get a response so I know the mixer is working properly or at least moving the UVs?
