I can get one of these for 40 bucks to use to record onto, assuming it works properly... is this worth it? does anyone know anything about this model?

It's an older model from the early to mid 70's.
Probably pretty noisy and ripe for trouble mechanically and electronically.
Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I found out about it and realized it had no noise reduction, and recorded at 7.5... Oh well.
