I am not possitive about this as I do all my recording on my reel to reel but, to do what you want I think you need to run it through your sound board to get it to work.

But I can not do it.

What is the exact difficulty you are having...???

The outputs of the deck will each go to the inputs of the soundcard...assuming your soundcard has at least 4 inputs.
There is probably a level misatch between the deck and soundcard...but there should be enough level going to the card to get sound.

You may be able to adjust the soundcard's input level (-10 or +4).
What kind of soundcard is it and what type of inputs does it have (1/4", XLR...etc...etc)?

Just connect the outputs to your sound card inputs.
If your card only has 2 line inputs (L+R) you will need a mixer in between the Teac and the sound card if you want to play all 4 tracks at once.

Do you have all the "U shaped" jumpers installed on the back of the Teac?
If not, it won't work.
Those jumpers were for the optional dbx noise reduction unit.
If you don't have the dbx you need the jumpers in place.
If you've lost the jumpers, very short RCA-->RCA cables will do in a pinch.

If you are only playing 2 track stereo tapes, take the outputs for channels 1+3 and connect them to the inputs L+R of your sound card. The other two tracks will be the other side of the tape so you will have to turn the tape over to get them.
