I have an old 1/4" TEAC A-2340 4- TRACK, an Intel Mac Pro, and a DIGI 001
sound card with 2 optical ports and 1 SCSI port. Problem is, the TEAC only has
RCA plugs on line out. How can I get the four tracks into my Mac Pro? Should
I put the DIGI card on Ebay and get a card that will take 4 RCA plugs?
I have no clue.

Any help would be appreciated.

You definately need an interface with 4 line inputs. Don't necessarily have to be rca. 1/4" inputs are more common and you can just get adapters.

A poor man's fix would be to play back each track seperately into your DAW, that is one at a time (or 2 at a time if you the inputs). Once in your DAW, you can manipulate the tracks together, time align etc. Just takes some time to get them in cause you are playing each track individually. That make sense?
