I just checked my box of scotch 203 .....and it has a similar code:
84-9800-1665-7
When I look at this box, I can't imagine it's any later than the `70s. This thing really looks more like `60s! Still the possibility that it could be `80s or `90s kinda freaks me out. I've already played with a bunch of `80s and `90s tape - it's time to try some `60s and `70s tape already!
