I played one for the second time at Sam Ash today. It was $1000. I have heard of people buying it for $800. Where I don't know. Maybe someone can fill me in.

I also want to try out an Alvarez. I want something with a thin neck. Anything else I should try out?
 
Well, I don't know how much it is suposed to sell for, I suspect that people are just pulling your leg. but check GuitarCenter. If that is what they sell it for you might be able to find a small shop that does good amounts of buisness for around $900.
 
It was in the Harmony Central Reviews. I couldn't find anyone on the web that sells it.
 
I paid $1200.00 CDN for mine 2 years ago, which would come out to around $800-900.00 US. You should be able to find it for under $1,000.00. Unless they put their prices up.
