anyone know where to find some tassman presets? I've got sonar xl and tassman comes with it but I only see like 5 very strange sounding presets.

Tassman comes with lots of presets and also Banks, and instruments and programs.
On the bottom of Tassman click Load instrument.
Or Load preset
Or up top to the left are 2 buttons that will load banks and programs.
It should open to the right directory, but search around if not.
You can do a search on your system for
Instruments (.mom) files
Presets (.dxt) files
Banks (.fxb) files
Programs (.fxb) files also
The drop down boxes at the top :
The left one is for the instuments
The right one is for the presets of that instrument.

Thanks. I found em now.
Nice tone. Not much to use in the area of acoustic sounds (piano, bass).
Hopefully the next version will add some significant content for those of us just looking for sounds.

For those sounds, try the VSC DXi.
That's the Roland Virtual Sound Canvas.
It has lots of pianos and bass.
