At the NAMM show, Tascam showed a cool usb digital mixer for $600 list. GC is selling the 1000 for $500. I know I'll need a dig. i/o sc with the 1000 too, but which way to go? I am using SF Acid and real analog instruments, doing dub music (which i CANNOT do with a F!@#$%^ mouse). The new Tascam also comes with seq software, I was going to use fassoft with the 1000. All I want is midi control of faders/efx sends, etc..good preamps, and at least 8 channels. Any suggestions here?
