Tascam us1800 wont work on a mac :(

Hey there,
i cant get my tascam us1800 working with my mac.
the instructions say that it automatically apears on the audio/midi setup but mine hasn't

everything is turned on, the power and USB light is on.
on the tascam settings that i had to install with it, it reads there, but not in the audio midi setup.

can anyone help please?

Download the driver for your MAC from HERE.

Next, tell us what DAW (software) you are using it with.

I'm not sure what version of Lion you're running but the latest version is 64 bit and the US-1800 doesn't have 64 bit drivers yet. Tascam is working on it. You might go to their forum or even facebook for an update.
