I have connected a mic to the Us-122 but cannot get the audio to register on my Ibook using cubase... can anyone help im probably missing something really simple

Info you can use...
If it's a condenser mic, be sure the phantom power switch is on.
Other settings that could affect the lack of sound are the 'mic/line-guitar' switch and the line out level, depending on how you have it hooked up.
And you do have it plugged into it's own USB port and not into a hub, right?
