Here's a strange one for ya. When working with Nuendo using my Tascam USB sound card I get a very strange symptom. When the transport panel is actively playing/recording, and I attempt to click another window or open another program, my sample rate suddenly drops from 48K to 41K. This causes an effect that sounds like playing a 45 record on a 33 turntable. Any ideas what may be causing this?
The rest of my hardware is state of the art. Pentium 4 1.6C, 512MB PC400 RAM, 7200RPM hard drives that aren't even close to full. This PC hauls major ass. Any ideas why I am experiencing USB issues with this unit?
