Tascam US-122 Interface

Does anyone have one of these or know about them? I just about bought one but wanted to get some feed back first.
I use Acid program/windows 2000, wondering if anyone has had any problems with this unit.
 
i have one and like it very much. Its not inteded for crazy 8 track recording at once but if you want to record two mics or do some midi work, it is more than capable. it can do 24 bit at 48 khz which is good too. The hardware monitoring is great (no cpu strain) and having both headphone and monitor outs is very handy.

USB is kindof shitty but what can you do? firewire is cool but may be overkill and PCI is not always the best solutions either.
 
I have one too and like it very much as well.

Like Dar, I have modest expectations that don't exceed the unit's stated capabilities and on that basis we have formed a mutual admiration society.

I too like the output configuration, and being able to use the analog inserts with a phantom powered mic is a true luxury...
