Hi,just found a Tascam porta 02 mini studio for 179.99... Is i worth it to start out with for vocals? Also found 92.00 used online? Any suggestions?

If you are using it to only record vocals, just to get your feet wet in recording, I suggest you get the Porta 02 used for $92
Do you plan on recording instruments as well?

Hi Doug,I have been recording karaoke style which has become quite boring,what I would like to do is record music onto the 4 track and then add my vocals,just as a start,I dont mind spending the 179.oo as long as it is worth it..
I have never recorded on 4 track myself,so I dont knowthe technicals,but I am dying to play around with it,thanx for replying,talk soon!
