we don't need rest!!
I just won this mixer on ebay for $46.20 shipped. Seems to be a decent 16 input keyboard mixer with 4 sends (two at once). I need to submix a couple of items for live performance...like a drum machine, a Roland GR33 synth, Boss GT-8, and a keyboard down to two outs...and I want to adjust the blend myself. Trying to downscale actually, and need a tiny mixer..and this one will rackmount too.

According to Tascam, it appears to have debuted in '94.

Anyone else have any other info. Googled didn't bring much more info.

Figured you analog guys would know just as much as anyone in the Tascam forum :)

You guys are useless!! :D
Don't tell me I have a piece of Tascam history that none of you guys also have, or have even tried. Granted, not a recorder, but it still is a mixer..albeit, no mic preamps, although the gain control is labeled "trim".

Anywazz..got the product, will work great for my application, and phooy on all you guys that didn't reply to my thread!! :p :p :p

46 bucks for a 16 channel keyboard mixer, 4 sends with returns, separate headphone out level control.... life is nice!
:)

ok...back to analog... carry on!!

Looks like you’re set to be our resident MM100 expert. :D

I’ve seen those around but never used them. I like the layout. I have so many keyboards and modules I’m toying with the idea of getting something like that myself, so let us know how it goes. In fact, I was looking at that auction, but couldn't make up my mind.

It looks to be in the tradition of the mm-1 that came out a few years before. I’ve heard good things about that one.

I set it up with my rig tonight, and it is going to work great. The fadars are a little on the "short throw" side...guessing a 45mm throw VS a 60... and of course ya gotta have 100 on your 'regular' mixer. No noise that is going to be an issue. The EQ seems to be a simple fixed shelving point sounding at around 8k and 120 on the low side... just as a guess. Compact package as it is only 3u high and about 8 inches deep, complete with built in rack ears. Has some overload LEDs on the input, which actually light up when I could start to hear distortion!!... the main 7 or 8 segment stereo LED on the outputs are basically useless, but glad to have them there. Probably won't use the sends unless I need to send another additional mix out for monitors or something down the line..but I don't see that. Maybe that is where I will hook in my LOOPER!!!

Oh..I did get a kick out of the 14 guage..maybe even 16 gauge LIGHT duty power cable on the thing. Skinniest power cable I have ever seen. Makes lamp zip cord look heavy duty :)

Anywazz... I was just trying to scale down and was looking specifically for a little mixer, to do just this kinda thing... run 4 or so stereo items into it and be able to send a stereo mix to the FOH. (gotta make it easy for those sound guys!!)
